There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include volunteering, providing in-kind donations, contributing cash, and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit the Donate page on the CBE website.
Welcome to Collingwood School's Fundraising Hub!
Your support is invaluable in enriching the educational journey of our students. Fundraising enables us to provide enriching opportunities and experiences for our students, such as the ongoing purchase of Spanish books, the gaga ball pit, musical instruments, and many amazing resources and residencies, such as SOGO and this year’s visiting visual artist. Each year we host a number of passive fundraisers and organize several fundraising campaigns and events. See the details below!
At Collingwood School, we believe in working as a team to foster a vibrant and dynamic learning environment, and your contributions make this possible. Whether it's through volunteering donations, fundraising support, or sharing your expertise, every effort counts towards our collective success. ¡Trabajamos en equipo!

Read - A- Thon
The Collingwood School Parent Association is raising funds for bottle-filling water fountains and new books—and we need your help!
Some students may have already brought home a Read-a-thon bookmark. If not, one will be sent home soon.
From April 6 to May 6, students can participate in the Escuela Collingwood School Read-a-thon to help raise funds for these important additions. These are valuable resources that will benefit all students now and for years to come.
Students can ask for sponsors who pledge to support their reading—anywhere from 15–30 minutes per day throughout the Read-a-thon. Donations of any amount are appreciated and will go directly toward covering the costs of the water fountains and books.
All participating students will be entered into a prize draw! Prizes include: Stampeders game day tickets, Flames youth jersey, Flames water bottle, Collingwood apparel, slurpees and much more. We will also award a pizza party to the classes that raises the most funds, along with additional classroom incentives, perhaps extra recess, pajama day and the chance to get to be the ‘Principal’ for a day. Students will be asked to track their daily reading throughout the event.
How to participate:
- Go to the Escuela Collingwood Read-a-thon page
- Click on Fundraise
- Select your child’s classroom team (grade and teacher name).
- Click fundraise then Join a Team. Add your child’s name (and a photo if you wish)
- Set a fundraising goal—there is no minimum!
Everyone who participates will be entered into the prize draw.
Thank you for your support—and happy reading! ¡A leer!
