The Parent Diversity Subcommittee has updated their name and are now the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Subcommittee of the School Council (DEI). Members from the committee will be available at a table at school during conferences to talk about the group and their activities to promote a spirit of inclusion at Collingwood School. While you are at conferences, please also stop by the Black History Month Displays the DEI committee put together in the Learning Commons, highlighting important historical and current black leaders in a variety of fields.

When you look outside today it is hard to believe that it is Spring. However, we are now past the vernal equinox for the Northern Hemisphere and it is officially Spring. Many cultures around the world celebrate the arrival of Spring with festivals and songs. We would like to wish Navroz Mubarak to members of our community who celebrate the beginning of Spring and the first day of the Persian Solar Calendar today.
