Message from Interim Principal – Rick Petrowitsch
Next week will be a very amazing week. Que Pasa on Tuesday, School Council Meeting on We had a wonderful meeting with Laura Hack, CBE Trustee for Wards 3 & 4. Laura attended our Parent School Council meeting on Wednesday, and she shared important information and was open to many questions. She mentioned how important it is for parents to become knowledgeable about the many changes in policies that are coming from the Alberta Government. Trustee Hack also shared the good news about the money that is being allocated for reducing class sizes. We are not sure when the money will come to the school level and what the impact will be for Collingwood School. Stay Tuned.
I hope everyone received the good news regarding the new Principal coming to Collingwood School starting on June 1. I will be meeting with Eve Moreau over the next two weeks as we formulate a transition plan.
