Message from Principal, Eve Moreau

Thank you to all the families who joined us for our Welcome Back Picnic and Meet-the-Teacher presentations.  It was wonderful to see our school community come together and celebrate the beginning of a new school year.

We are looking forward to our Terry Fox Run on Monday (more below). This meaningful event gives our students an opportunity to honour Terry Fox’s legacy by coming together to support cancer research and embody the values he demonstrated, including courage, perseverance, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

A reminder to parents and guardians of students with Individual Program Plans (IPPs): Homeroom teachers have sent you a link to book a meeting to discuss your child’s IPP goals on September 25, 2026. Please use the link provided by your child’s teacher to select a meeting time.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Warmly,
Eve

Bus Transportation Reminder

If your child is registered to ride the school bus but will be picked up from school instead, please call the school office before 2:00 PM Monday–Thursday and before 11:30 AM on Fridays.

  • Students registered for bus transportation will be sent to and boarded onto their assigned bus unless the school has been notified by a parent/guardian before these times.

If you are unable to call the school before these times, please meet your child at the bus area at dismissal time and inform the bus driver that you are picking up your child. Students who are being picked up will be waiting near their assigned buses. Parents/guardians are asked to come to the bus area to collect their child and advise the driver before leaving.

If a student is not present when their bus is ready to depart, the school will make an announcement for the student. We will no longer be calling parents individually at bus departure time. Following the announcement, buses will leave at their designated departure time to ensure transportation schedules are maintained.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for all students.
