READ-A-THON
Wow - we are blown away and thankful for all the contributions. We are OVER $10,000 mark. So we are certainly going to be able to get our goal of water filling stations and books … but the more we raise will determine how many stations we can get so please keep encouraging our students to read!
Some families asked for a way to track reading at home, so we’ve attached a reading calendar you can use if helpful.
Prizes for Read-a-thon: we have so many prizes to be won, we are also very grateful to our community support who have gave so many donations for us to use as prizes.
Prizes to be won:
- Discovery hut - puzzles, games and crafts
- Destination Art - $20 gift cards and a large canvas 24x60'' (worth 78$)
- Cambrian Pharmacy - stuffies
- The Bullet Coffee House- coupons for Free kids ice cream scoop & 12oz coffee for parents
- Momoko Sushi - $20 Gift cards
- Pangaea - coupons for free pizza slice
- 7-11 - free small slurpees
- Parent Donations- Collingwood hat, Flames water bottle, Flames youth jersey and Calgary Stampeders game tickets.
- In order for a students to be entered in the draws for prizes the student must be registered by name on Zeffy. If they want to win prizes for ‘most raised’ the donations need to be put in there name. Any questions don’t hesitate to email! Collingwoodpa@gmail.com
- Collingwood Kids Club & Parent Round Table will be taking place Thursday April 23, 6:00-7:30. The Parent round table topic will be Early Literacy. We look forward to seeing families and children there,

Joining the Board: several CSPA Board positions will be coming available as some roles are finishing their final term. Please reach out and we are happy to explain roles and help find something that fits your availability. Many positions can also be shared.
