Hola Collingwood families,
Another year is about to close and what better way to end it than to have a fun-filled morning full of activity, food and engagement! This year, all students (including Kindergarteners) will be participating in our annual Sports Day celebration on Friday, June 13, 2025. This event will take place during school hours.
On this day, the Collingwood School Parent Association will be providing a free lunch to all Collingwood School children, staff and any volunteers at the Sports Day celebration. Lunch will take place between 11:00 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.
The lunch will consist of a hot dog (condiments provided), an individual bag of chips, a cookie and a juice box. Please note that the juice boxes and chips will be delivered at random unless an allergy is specified (e.g., dairy allergy = sour cream chips).
There will be a vegetarian and gluten free option available for all the aforementioned items, at a parent’s request. Please see the attached pdf for a detailed ingredient list of all items.
If your child has allergy concerns or requires vegetarian or gluten free options, please send an email with your child’s full name, teacher and the requested item(s) no later than June 5, 2025, to funlunchcollingwood@gmail.com.
Furthermore, in order for Sports Day to be a success, we require several volunteers to help organize the lunch bins on June 12 and a larger number of volunteers to help distribute the lunches the following day, June 13. If you are able to help, and have an approved security clearance, please sign up using the link below.
