Message from Interim Principal – Rick Petrowitsch
We would like to thank parents for helping to reduce the number of children late to school. We still have a ways to go; however, we are seeing improvement. With the recent warm spell, we are continuing to see ice forming on the fields as well as the parking lots. Please use caution when bringing your child to the doors of the school. It has come to our attention that some parents are not using the drop-and-go zone properly. Please make sure to use the south entrance to enter the area and the north as the exit. I know parents are often in a hurry, but we must make safety our top priority. Please note that the next School Council meeting is this coming Wednesday at 6:30. The second Wednesday of each month will be the regular time for these meetings.

Artist In Residency
We want to thank your Parent Association for sponsoring our Visual Artist in Residency Program. Collingwood School students continue to work on exciting projects for all our grade groups. We look forward to the creativity our students come up with during this residency.
Registration is ongoing for New Students Enrolling in K and Gr 1 at Collingwood School
Registering your child for school for the first time is an exciting milestone and we look forward to welcoming them to Collingwood School!
Starting Jan.12, 2026, registration for kindergarten registrants, as well as registrations for new Grade 1-12 students, will open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Collingwood School is a lottery school. The submission deadline for families of children/students who wish to apply for a school in lottery is noon on Feb. 10, 2026.
If a sibling will be joining us for the 2026-2027 school year please ensure to submit the application before the lottery deadline so that they are included in the correct priority for lottery. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on the waitlist.
All currently enrolled students at Collingwood School automatically proceed to the next grade. No new registration forms need to be completed. CBE - Registering for School

School Zones Safety
A friendly reminder to our Collingwood parents, to please slow down and take extra precautions when dropping off students in the morning. We understand it is a high traffic area, but please try to use the designated student drop off zone.
If you need to park your vehicle on the opposite side of school, please cross the road with your child at the marked crosswalk. We want to ensure that everyone stays safe.

School Field Trips Fees Payable Online
School Field Trip Fees are uploaded online. To view and pay your fees, please log into your MyCBE Account. Please use this Student Fee Guide to pay the fees online.
If a waiver is not obtained and school fees are unpaid, these costs ultimately come out of the school budget.
