Dear Collingwood School Families,

As a friendly reminder, our February Fun Lunch for students in Grades 1–6 will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
This month’s Fun Lunch features Panago Pizza and Booster Juice!

Ordering Information

  • Sign up for Fun Lunches through the Healthy Hunger website (account required).
  • Please review the Healthy Hunger Set-Up Instructions before ordering.

For this month, the deadline to order or cancel is Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
After this time, orders cannot be added, changed, or cancelled.

Important Reminders

  • Please talk with your child(ren) in advance about whether they will be receiving a Fun Lunch that day. Knowing expectations ahead of time helps create a positive experience for everyone.
  • Collingwood School is a litter-free school. Students will be asked to bring home all leftovers and garbage from their Fun Lunch.
  • Parents may wish to send a small bag to help contain any spills or leftovers.

Volunteer Sign-Up

Fun Lunches rely on volunteers to organize and distribute meals.
You can now sign up to volunteer from February through the end of the school year.

  • A valid Police Information Check is required.

If you need to cancel a volunteer shift, please provide as much notice as possible, as a minimum number of volunteers is required to distribute lunches efficiently.

Student Absence on Fun Lunch Days

If your child is absent on a Fun Lunch day and you were unable to cancel the order by the deadline but wish to pick it up, please email collingwood@cbe.ab.ca before 10:30 AM with pick-up instructions.

Please note:

  • Instructions must be received by 10:30 AM on the day of the Fun Lunch.
    (Lunches are organized and distributed between 10:30 AM and 12:15 PM.)
  • Any unclaimed lunches without instructions received by 10:30 AM will be donated by the Parent Association to the staff room.
  • Pick-up time for absent students’ lunches is 11:30 AM–12:00 PM at the school.
    This allows volunteers time to locate and set aside the correct order.
