Collingwood Weekly Update March 16 – 20, 2026

Message from Interim Principal – Rick Petrowitsch

I just would like to remind parents of the Student -Led Conferences being held next week. You must go online and sign up for a time. There will be 4 time slots for each hour. This means that there could be 4 families in the classroom at the same time. Your child will take the parent(s) around the classroom to show them their work and talk about their learning. Each family will have 15 minutes with the teacher during that one-hour time slot. The meeting will not be in a private setting, but in the classroom at the teacher’s desk. If you require a private meeting regarding your child’s situation or IPP, please contact the teacher to set up a time for that meeting.

I would like to remind parents that Smart Watches are considered personal mobile devices when connected to a cell phone or the internet. Students should not be using a smartwatch other than to check the time.

I would like to wish everyone a nice Spring Break. Let’s hope for spring-like weather. If you are travelling, safe travels.

Please read this Messenger message in its entirety, as there is a great deal of important information below.

Thank you.
