Friendology Website
We are working hard at Collingwood School to ensure that all students feel welcome and included at school. I am pleased to announce that to support our teachers and families to help children with complex friendship dynamics, the Collingwood School Parent Association is sponsoring an online school membership for all teachers with the URSTRONG organization. URSTRONG has an online program which all of the teachers are using in their classrooms called Friendology 101.
Parents are invited to take advantage of a FREE Parent Membership to access hundreds of resources – including an 8 session video series. This will allow you to learn the same language & strategies being taught in the classroom through the Friendology 101 curriculum. We hope that, as a URSTRONG Family, you will reinforce the important messages of empowerment, self-compassion, & kindness at home.
Commercial Messages
From time to time, the school sends out messages with commercial content, such as fun lunch notices, ordering pictures or special fundraisers. For example, the Parent Association is hosting an exciting new apple fundraiser this fall. In order to receive these emails families need to subscribe to receive commercial messages from the school.
Fundraisers and Donations
Visit our fundraisers and donations page which will provide you with up to date information about any Collingwood School fundraisers or Parent Association Fundraisers. It also explains the process the CBE uses for other donations. Please take a few minutes to check out some of the exciting plans of the Collingwood Parent Association.
