The teachers will all be outside on supervision at 7:45 am and look forward to meeting everyone. Please check in with your child’s teacher, or ensure that your child knows how they will be going home at the end of the day so they can share this information with their teacher, including the bus letter if they are riding the bus.

Grade 4 – Basketball court

Labour Action
Due to the breakdown in negotiations between Alberta teachers and their employer, there is the possibility that teachers will be locked out and not allowed to enter schools, or that the Alberta Teachers’ Association will exercise a strike mandate, for which they must give 72 hours notice. We recognize that this creates a lot of uncertainty for families and school staff alike. At this time, classes will be proceeding as usual.
Opening Assembly
Throughout the year we will have a variety of assemblies. These are an opportunity for us to come together as a school community to celebrate classroom learning. While assemblies are only for staff and students, there will be other opportunities for parents to attend various events.
Welcome Back Family Picnic
All families are welcome to attend our Welcome Back Family Picnic on Sept 12 from 11:00 – 12:00. Food trucks will be available. Families are invited to bring their lunch and blankets or lawn years and eat together with your child outside. Further details will be forthcoming.
Further Details will also follow about all of the other special events this month including Fun Lunch, School Council Meeting, Terry Fox, Picture Day, Conferences, Residencies and more!
