Message from Interim Principal Rick Petrowitsch
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents for their support over the last 5 months. I have truly enjoyed my time at Collingwood School. The staff and students are in excellent hands with an outstanding staff and an awesome new Principal. I had the opportunity to meet several times with Sra. Moreau, and I believe that it will be a very smooth transition. I look forward to heading back into retirement and traveling over the next few weeks.

Indigenous Hoop Dancer and Storyteller - Tuesday, June 2 | 8:15 AM
We are excited to welcome Jess from Cowessess First Nation and Elijah from the Kainai Nation, to perform hoop dance with flute songs, rattle songs, storytelling, dance, and a student Q&A. This is a presentation for our students.
Yellow School Bus Registration for 2026-2027
To access bus transportation for next year, re-registration is required. The deadline for all bus registrations is Sunday, June 14, 2026. Please log into your MyCBE account to register.
Traffic Safety
For the safety of all our students and families, we ask that everyone respect the law in the school zone - this means no jaywalking, no U-turns, and respecting the speed limit. If families witness poor driver or pedestrian behavior, please complete a police service report here.

School Field Trip Fees
School field trip fees are available online. To view and pay your fees, please log into your MyCBE account and use the Student Fee Guide to pay online. If a waiver is not obtained and school fees are unpaid, these costs ultimately come out of the school budget. Thank you for your ongoing support of Collingwood School.
Collections Update
Unpaid 2024-2025 Lunch Supervision and Transportation Fees were sent to collections in early March 2026. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Student Fees team at studentfees@cbe.ab.ca. The collection agency offers flexible payment options - contact them at 1-888-531-1074 or info@groupesc.com.
