Message from Principal — Eve Moreau

Our students have been busy creating beautiful artwork for the Parent Association’s upcoming Art Card Fundraiser. We are excited to celebrate their creativity and share their artistic accomplishments with families. Ordering details to be available shortly after the Fall Break, so keep an eye out for further announcements, around that time. Further enriching our arts programming this month, we look forward to the flamenco residency with Alma Viva on November 16, which coincidentally falls on International Flamenco Day (see details below).

Looking further ahead, Parent-Teacher Interviews on November 26-27 will provide an important opportunity to connect with teachers, celebrate student growth, and discuss next steps in learning. An email will be sent out on November 16, and bookings begin on November 21. While you are at school, please enjoy the artwork that students produced in October during National Latin American Heritage Month.

We invite families to visit our school website, where our Report to Parents on Fees and Digital Citizenship Plan are now available. These documents reflect our commitment to transparency, responsible resource management, and supporting students in becoming respectful digital citizens.

Finally, as we look ahead to the next two weeks, our school community will take time to recognize Remembrance Day on November 10 (more below), reflecting on the importance of peace, service, and remembrance. Through age-appropriate learning activities, students will have opportunities to consider the significance of this day and the values of compassion, gratitude, and respect. We also wish all our families a restful and enjoyable November Break

from Wednesday, November 11 to Friday, November 13, 2026. Classes resume on Monday, November 16, 2026.

Sincerely,
Eve Moreau
Principal
